On these tours, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Presidential Mountains and discover new corners of our winter wonderland. Cost: $35 for Resort Guests and Seniors Age 65+. $40 Public. All participants must have a season pass or day ticket to participate Rentals are available for an additional fee based on current rental pricing.

Join a storyteller in hearing the Owl Moon children’s story of a girl who goes owling on a cold winter night under the full moon with her father, then enjoy a snowshoe hike in search of owls with a naturalist and end with some hot cocoa in the warming hut. FREE!

In conjunction with the Appalachian Mountain Club, Great Glen Trails offers you the chance to really get to know Pinkham Notch, with a FREE tour (trail pass is required). When you ski with a naturalist, you will learn about the flora and fauna that make our corner of the world so special.
You’ll scout for tracks in the snow and learn about the different trees in the Glen. While listening for distinct bird calls, you’ll truly begin to understand how the ecosystem works in Pinkham Notch. Tours are FREE with a trail pass.
Guest Speaker Dr. John Allen, PhD, is the historian for the New England Ski Museum and author of From Skisport to Skiing: 100 Years of an American Sport 1840-1940 and The Culture and Sport of Skiing From Antiquity to World War II. He has lectured in the USA and Europe, and we are thrilled to host his talk on the amazing history of skiing in New Hampshire.

Come join us for winter fun on skis for the whole family! Try out the maze, bicycle bumps, and junior jump at the Skier Discovery Zone! Games, team relays, and a scavenger hunt with prizes on trails to the Great Angel Cabin! Beginner lessons and a lollipop race for new skiers. Lunch in our cozy Base Lodge, storytelling, and tubing all day! Parents are welcome and encouraged to take part in all activities offered.
Registration includes a trail pass, lunch, and activities all day. Register in advance, and kids rental skis are free, adults 1/2 off!
