Weeks State Park Presents: Fern Natural History Walk

Join in for an easy walk to identify and learn all about the ferns of Mount Prospect, including some unusual ferns associated with calcium rich environments. Author of the Peterson Field Guide to Ferns, Elizabeth Farnsworth is sometimes changed to “Fernsworth” for her expertise in ferns. While this field trip is labeled as a fern walk, the group will be looking at all kinds of natural history topics, from ants to wildlife. Meet at the Summit Parking Lot.

All programs held on Thursdays at 7 p.m. (unless otherwise noted) in the Summit Lodge’s Great Room. Attendance is free and the public is invited to all programs. Call (603) 788-4004 for confirmation of dates and topics.
