Seek the Peak: 19th Annual Hike-A-Thon

As the largest annual fundraiser of the nonprofit Mount Washington Observatory, we invite you to participate and to Seek YOUR Peak… While many hikers will choose the challenge of summitting Mount Washington, others will opt for alternative mountain treks, a short “nature hike” or even participate as a “virtual hiker.”

Each hiker is asked to raise a minimum of $200 as part of their participation; in turn they are awarded with fabulous prizes and more!
Reach the minimum early and get in on monthly drawings to win gear.  Be one of the first 500 to raise $200 and earn an exclusive Seek the Peak backpack and T-shirt.

Ultimately the weekend is an incredible gathering of like-minded outdoor enthusiasts who have come together to Seek their Peaks in support of Mount Washington Observatory.

Seek the Peak Hike-a-Thon

Seek the Peak is the nation’s premier hiking event. Presented by Eastern Mountain Sports, Seek the Peak will draw over 500 hikers and their families from across the eastern seaboard and beyond to the White Mountains this July. Seek the Peak is a classic participant-driven fundraising event. Once hikers register for Seek the Peak, they are encouraged to solicit donations from family and friends in support of their efforts. On Seek the Peak Saturday, they hit the trail with the 6,288-foot summit of Mount Washington or seek alternative hikes. Once they complete their hike, they are treated to a tremendous awards party with a dinner, a retail expo and thousands of dollars in prizes.
