Festivities are held at Murphy Dam beginning at 11 a.m. The day’s events include a flea market, crafters, antique car show, petting zoo, and vintage tractor display. Burgers, hot dogs, cold drinks, popcorn, fried dough for sale, A kids fishing derby will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. and the chicken barbecue is at 6 p.m. Fireworks will go off at dusk.

Celebrate our Nations birthday Jefferson, NH Style on July 4th, 2019!
This year’s Jefferson 4th of July Parade’s theme is ‘We The People’. The parade will begin at 10:00 A.M., line up at 9:30 A.M. leaving Hillside Cemetery, following Meadows Road to Rte 2 Intersection, and continuing on Route 2 to Jefferson Town Office Parking Lot.
Following the parade there will be other events including a fishing derby, cookout, fun and games and a raffle. The day will end with a Firework Celebration.
On Sunday, July 7th there will be Jefferson Fireman’s Breakfast at the Jefferson Community Building.
Join us for a celebration of the Mount Washington Cog Railway and its history of 150 years of operations. With special presentations about the railroad history, food, drinks and a fireworks show to WOW, it’s sure to be a celebration for the ages!
This is a special ticketed event. The cost for the event has not been released yet, and tickets will be released on a certain day at a certain time. Errol’s parade kicks off at 1 p.m., with the theme “Your Favorite Part of Summer.” Other events include building your own handmade fishing pole, kids’ fishing, BBQ, kids’ games and a log rolling contest. Fireworks begin at dusk by the Route 26 bridge.

Franconia’s Old Home Day events include a Pancake Breakfast, 5K Fun Run, Magic Show, BBQ, Open House at Dow Academy with tours of the Clock Tower, flea market, art show, library book sale and duck race. A concert featuring Tribute to the Beatles band begins at 7:30, with fireworks following at dusk.
Gorham stages the Longest 4th of July Celebration in the New Hampshire, running from June 29th – July 4th! This year’s theme is “Hats Off to Our Troops!
