9th Annual Jericho ATV Festival

The 2017 Jericho ATV Festival Presented by Progressive ATV Insurance was an ATV enthusiast’s dream come true, featuring mud races, demo rides, live music and delicious food. The event was a record breaker with 7,000 people in attendance.

The annual festival takes place at Jericho Mountain State Park, which boasts more than 80 miles of trails. With more than 1,000 miles of interconnected OHRV trails in the Ride the Wilds network, New Hampshire’s Grand North is paradise for ATV riders, and the Jericho ATV Festival Presented by Progressive puts the spotlight on the very best riding in the northeast.

What to Know Before You Go!

  • No need to trailer once you get here; ride your ATV to access the event, restaurants, gas stations and retail stores! ATVs are not required to attend the Jericho Festival — buses will be running both days.

*FRIDAY, the gates at Jericho Mountain State Park open at 8am. $10 per person / $5 for children 6 and under. From 8am – 4pm the action is at Jericho Mountain State Park, including an ATV Poker Run, Mudpit Grudge Runs, Demos Rides from Major Manufacturers, PowerSports Dealers, Kids’ Activities, After Market Vendors, Food Vendors, Helicopter Rides and an Obstacle Course.

*SATURDAY, the gates open at 8am again. $10 per person, $5 for children 6 and under. From 8am – 4pm the action is at Jericho Mountain State Park, including Food Vendors, After Market Vendors, PowerSports Dealers, Kids’ Activities, Mud Pit Races, Helicopter Rides, Demo Rides from Major Manufacturers and an Obstacle Course.

**Also on Saturday only…we will be featuring a Freestyle Stunt Show with RAVEX MOTORSPORTS sponsored by Berlin City Chevrolet Buick GMC. Check out these daredevils with their high flying stunts!! Time of show TBD.

EVENING ACTIVITIES:

FRIDAY EVENING (Aug 3rd) 4-9pm – Dowtown Block Party Ride In — Ride the streets of Berlin to the Downtown Block Party featuring LIVE music, food vendors and a beer tent. The evening closes out with an ATV Torch-Lit Parade!

SATURDAY EVENING (Aug 4th) 4-9pm – Concert in the Heritage Park — 942 Main Street, Berlin — Ride your ATV to the Heritage Park for an evening of LIVE music, food vendors and a beer tent.

NO admission price to attend the nighttime events.

Music in the Great North Woods Organ Concert

Francien Janse-Balzer and Kevin Birch will present an organ duo concert at Gorham Congregational Church, 143 Main Street, Gorham.

Admission is by donation to benefit MGNW.

This concert is part of the 2018 music series presented by Music in the Great North Woods.

Last Train to Zinkov Concert at St. Kieran Arts

Last Train to Zinkov will share their Eastern European roots through old-time Appalachian music and gypsy jazz.

The Mahoosuc Community Band at St. Kieran Arts Center

The Mahoosuc Community Band is typically found performing in the Bethel, ME area, but decided to broaden their performance horizons this season with a Monday night performance at St. Kieran Arts Center.

Tickets for the show are $5.00 all seats and are available online until 3 days prior (www.stkieranarts.org) for a small additional fee, and at the Arts Center office and at the door on the day of the show.

 

St. Kieran Arts Presents: Youth Ensemble of New England

The Youth Ensemble of New England is a youth orchestra composed of 35 talented young musicians from the age of 9 to 18. Based in Lancaster, Massachusetts, the orchestra draws its members from all over New England. Under the direction of Dr. Connie Rittenhouse Drexler, the orchestra has toured Iceland, Canada, England, Scotland, New England and southern California. The concerts feature gifted young soloists and are lively, varied, exciting and appeal to young and old alike. The orchestra repertoire is taken from a variety of great classical and sacred music, spanning from the Baroque period to the present.

Paddlemania

Get ready for a great day of fun at Paddlemania!

Paddle the mighty Androscoggin from Nansen Wayside to the Service Credit Union Heritage Park in your canoe, kayak, tube or anything that floats (no motors). Registration takes place at the Park from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Put in is at Nansen Wayside.

Paddling is not mandatory to attend festivities at the Park, which take place from 1 to 5 p.m. and  include lawn games, a beer tent, and food vendors. Amoskeag Beverages will offer Ale Tastings from 2-4 p.m., and A Shot of JD will provide live music from 3-5 p.m.

This year’s theme is “Pirate,” so dress yourself and your canoe, kayak, tube, etc. and win a prize for Best Use of Theme!

Join the Paddlemania Pirate Poker Run: Stop at designated points along the river to collect your poker chops. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Best Hands. And, a prize for Worst Hand, too!

*Poker Run participation not required to paddle the river.

* Paddlers have to arrange shuttling with their friends.

Drive in the ’50s — Downtown Berlin

Classic cars will line the streets of Berlin in early evening. Stop by and check out the fabulous “oldies,” enjoy music throughout the downtown, and nosh on a variety of foods as you stroll along. The free event is rain or shine!
