Homecoming Weekend at Bretton Woods Ski Area

Homecoming Weekend kicks off the 45th season of skiing and riding at the Bretton Woods Ski Area. On Friday, November 23, Warren Miller’s action-packed feature film, “Face of Winter,” will be screened.

On Saturday, the party continues with a “Welcome Back” Homecoming BBQ, followed by the Homecoming Brew tasting of beers from several Northern New England breweries. More information and tickets are available at www.brettonwoods.com/homecoming.

Wingzilla & ATV Poker Run

WINGZILLA is a Barbecue Chicken Wing Cook-Off Competition and “Luck of the Draw” Horse Shoe Tournament. Cash prizes awarded to the winners of both competitions! Come, enjoy the show and taste BBQ Chicken Wings as you’ve never experienced.

Put your taste buds to the test in the Killazilla Hot Wing Eating Contest or give it your best toss in the Cornhole Contest.

The Local 1088 Firefighters of Berlin are sponsoring a Luau ATV Poker Run, so wear a Hawaiian shirt and decorate your ATVs with leis and flowers and you can win a prize. All proceeds from the Poker Run go to Operation Warm (new coats for kids).

There’s face painting and games for the kids, and lip-smackin’ barbecue, burgers, hot dogs and a beer tent. There will also be live music!

Errol Parade & Fireworks

Errol’s parade kicks off at 1 p.m., with the theme “Your Favorite Part of Summer.” Other events include building your own handmade fishing pole, kids’ fishing, BBQ, kids’ games and a log rolling contest. Fireworks begin at dusk by the Route 26 bridge.

Franconia’s Old Home Day

Franconia’s Old Home Day events include a Pancake Breakfast, 5K Fun Run, Magic Show, BBQ, Open House at Dow Academy with tours of the Clock Tower, flea market, art show, library book sale and duck race. A concert featuring Tribute to the Beatles band begins at 7:30, with fireworks following at dusk.

Summer BBQ at AMC Highland Center

Join us every Sunday, July 1 through September 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. for a Family BBQ. Walk-in diners are welcome!

Menu includes Garden Salad; Russet Potato Salad; Watermelon, Mint & Feta Salad; Coleslaw; Boston Baked Beans; Honey & Black Pepper Cornbread; Garden Burgers; Local beef Burger Patties & Hot Dogs; Citrus Chipotle BBQ Chicken Breast; Applewood Smoked Beef Brisket; Top Your Own Shortcake.

Cost: $20 for adults, $10 for kids 3-12, free for kids 2 and under (plus tax for all prices).

Complimentary Climbing – Season Pass Holders ONLY

Take advantage of a free 10-minute climbing session for our 2017-2018 season pass holders.  Try out our Slopeside Climbing Wall, located on the Slopeside level of the Base Lodge.  Test your rock climbing skills on the 24’ tall artificial rock wall. Climbing shoes are available to rent.  Participants must fit safely in the harness.

Boys and Girls Club Fireworks Fundraiser at Cog Railway

Join us for the 3rd Annual Boys and Girls Club Fireworks Fundraise. Enjoy a train ride, BBQ, fireworks show, music, fun family games and a chance to win raffle prizes!! Co-sponsored by local businesses, this fun family event is open to the public. First come first serve. We strongly suggest booking in advance, train seating is limited.

Package price for train ride, BBQ and fireworks show, $99 per adult, $59 per child 12-4 (3 under are free).
