SONY DSCFirst Night: Spend the evening at the Mountain View Grand Resort, one of New Hampshire’s Grand Hotels.  Constructed in the 19th century, the Mountain View combines first-class comfort with casual elegance and a wide array of amenities and activities for guests.

Morning: The next morning you’ll head north. First along scenic Route 3 and across Route 110 with great views of Percy Peaks and other scenic vistas of the Great North Woods. Then, turning north onto Route 16 in Berlin,  you’ll be following the Androscoggin River, well known by old-timers and lumberjacks from the heyday of timber drives. These days the Androscoggin still gets plenty of attention — instead of spiked boots and axes, you’re more likely to see folks in rafts or carrying fishing poles. This stretch of river is also home to moose, osprey and deer.

ELC AerialMidday Adventure: Arriving at ELC outdoors in Errol, you’ll spend the first half of the day on a Class II white water adventure. During the second half you’ll be hanging out in the treetops on their new ropes course/zip line combo.

Evening: After finishing up at ELC drive through Dixville Notch where every four years the first votes in the Presidential Election are cast. Driving though Colebrook you can get pastries at Le Rendez-Vous(check hours of operation for evenings), an authentic French bakery, on your way to the Cabins at Lopstick in Pittsburg.

Bear Rock 3 ridersSecond Morning: The next morning spend the day exploring the North Country and the Ride the Wilds ATV trail network aboard an ATV from Bear Rock Adventures.  These trails consist of over 1,000 miles of inter-connected trails throughout the northern parts of New Hampshire!
