Weathervane Theatre Opening Night — Peter and the Starcatcher

Start with the humorous writing of Dave Barry and the well-crafted fiction of Ridley Pearson, then add their premise of the backstory to Barrie’s Peter Pan character. Then mix theatrical staging, a wonderful play by Rick Elise, and complementary music by Wayne Barker and you have all the makings of an extraordinary evening of live performance. Multiple Tony nominations, and cast winners, and overall critical delight made this “play with music” an audience favorite — and we’re privileged to be able to present five performances this summer.
