Free Winter Concert

A Cure for Those Wintertime Blues! The North Country Community Band, under the baton of conductor Andrew Tobin, will present a FREE family concert at the Lancaster Town Hall.

This concert promises something for both young and old. Music will include Broadway hits from “Phantom of the Opera,” “West Side Story,” and the Man of La Mancha. A medley from the Dreamworks hit movie How to Train Your Dragon is sure to be a hit with the children! The band will play an Argentinean tango, a powerful opening fanfare, a medley of George and Ira Gershwin hits titled “The Symphonic Gershwin,” as well as John Philip Sousa’s “The Gallant 7th March.”

The trombone section will be featured in a rousing rendition of the “Trombone Rag. “This concert also kicks off the band’s 20th anniversary season, which will feature 3 more concerts culminating in a Community Christmas Concert next December.
