Autumn Wildflower Walk

Discover the wildflowers and other signs of nature in Weeks State Park with the aid of naturalist, Matt Peters, an independent ecologist and botanist with field experience in diverse North American landscapes, from Alaska and the Great Plains to the forests of the northeast. Focusing on botanical and natural resource inventory, mapping and management in northern New England, Peters leads workshops on foraging, edible wild plants and plant identification. Meet at base parking lot. Bring raingear (just in case) and suitable clothing and footwear for an easy walk in the Park.
