NEW HAMPSHIRE GRAND LAUNCHES NEW TOURISM WEBSITES:
NHGRAND.COM AND RIDETHEWILDS.ORG
Lancaster, NH – NH Grand, the official visitor information resource for northern New Hampshire, is proud to announce the launch of two new websites to attract, assist and guide those planning visits to the region. NHgrand.com is a one-stop guide to New Hampshire’s Grand North, promoting attractions and activities, along with dining, lodging and retail properties throughout northern New Hampshire. RideTheWilds.org is dedicated to promoting the Grand North’s more than 1,000 miles of interconnected ATV trails, the only trail system of its kind in the Northeast.
NHgrand.com features interactive maps, monthly featured properties, sample itineraries produced by local residents, an ongoing section of deals, directories of lodging, dining, and shopping properties, a detailed events calendar and much more. Users will also find an in-depth look at the area’s attractions, activities and renowned features, along with fresh photography and videos allowing prospective visitors to fully educate themselves on all that is offered.
“Part of what makes our region attractive is that many people have not experienced the unique activities and scenery we offer. These websites look to familiarize them with the region in a simple, straight-forward manner,” said NH Grand Marketing Manager Karl Stone. “NH’s Grand North feels far away once here, but in reality it is close to home for most of our guests and we need to convey that. Once a guest visits, they tend to visit regularly thanks to memorable experiences. These websites were designed to be vital planning tools, enabling those website visitors to enjoy their vacations to the fullest degree.”
The websites incorporate the latest technologies in order to display optimally on computers, cellphones and tablets. As a result, guests can rely on he websites when they are at home planning their trip, or when they are in the midst of an adventurous visit to NH’s Grand North.
ATV enthusiasts, or those looking to try the sport, will find a plethora of unique features at RideTheWilds.org. There is information on the trails system itself, where to park and access trails, detailed trail maps, information on registering your ATV in NH, where to find food and fuel along the trails, renting an ATV or taking a guided tour and much more.
Grand North vacationers can expect to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, such as hiking, fishing, hunting, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, biking, moose viewing, golfing, skiing, camping, and much more. Those seeking more extreme adventures can zip through tree lines on a canopy tour at Bretton Woods, go white water rafting with ELC Outdoors, explore snowmobile and ATV trails, and more. Children and parents can enjoy amusement parks, including the renowned Santa’s Village, that are among the United States’ Top 25 Amusement Parks according to TripAdvisor’s Traveler’s Choice Awards. The highest peak on the east coast, Mt. Washington, offers multiple ways to reach the summit, including driving your own personal vehicle up the Mt. Washington Auto Road, ascending via historic steam locomotive on the Cog Railway or hiking by foot.
The region’s historic Grand Hotels including the Omni Mount Washington Hotel and the Mountain View Grand Resortstand tall and majestic against pristine backdrops. The website project was made possible thanks to a grant from the Northern Border Regional Commission. The program looks to address the community and economic development needs of portions of Northern New England.
